Fifth Harmony can’t believe the achievements their single Worth It.
The American girl group became a worldwide hit since forming within the US version of The X Factor in 2012.
But they solely recently achieved their biggest hit thus far, after Worth It was crowned the girls’ first track to trade over one million downloads.
Now they’re on a par with hit artists for example Taylor Swift, and are also struggling arrive at terms because of their new amount of fame.
“This is unquestionably our biggest single up to now for sure, so just to visualize it continue to climb and pay attention to it within the charts with Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift, or whoever’s big at this time, it’s right beside them and at that time with them,” singer Lauren Jauregui told Billboard magazine. “It’s frickin’ platinum! To say it’s platinum, which a million people bought that song, it’s amazing. It’s so incredible to determine that the support went beyond our group of followers.”
The group previously released singles like BO$$ and Sledgehammer, which are both appreciated by fans.
But they admit that they had no idea that their latest offering can be such a hit.
“With Worth It, we had been really surprised,” Normani Kordei added. “We love the song, but we had been kind of surprised, to tell the truth.”
“It’s normally the songs which you don’t really think which are the hits!” Dinah Jane Hansen agreed.
Fifth Harmony previously revealed they’ve already stuck together and avoided falling victim on the girl group curse.
Instead of arguments and cattiness, the five-piece band are becoming close friends.
“We’ve experienced the highest points of our own lives together along with the lowest points in our lives together. Through that process you are free to know the best of people along with the worst of which, and I think that respect is knowing both and being able to surpass the negative things,” Lauren told complex.com.
