Demi Lovato wasn’t looking to be provocative by swearing on the latest single.
The 22-year-old former Disney star uses some bad language on the fresh track Cool For The Summer. But Demi insists it was not to push people’s buttons, it simply felt natural to be with her to include what.
‘I curse a good deal!’ she told News.com.au. ‘The fact I had never cursed around my music was obviously a small instance of how I was attempting to please parents [of young fans] and also be a different woman for the kids. But if I am feeling like swearing, or wearing certain outfits, I really should not be tied to what they need or expect, it is just fun.’ Check Cool For The Summer.

Demi has faced criticism recently to be with her latest cover shoot with Cosmopolitan magazine. In the main shot, the Skyscraper singer is noted in a silver sequin mini dress which features a deep slit in the front and sides showcasing her cleavage.
But again, Demi arrived on the scene fighting, claiming that this pictures captured her at her most confident after many years of being affected by bulimia, self harm and drug abuse issues.
‘What him or her who are protesting don’t get is that for the first time in a very long time I feel incredibly EMPOWERED plus the MOST BEAUTIFUL I’ve ever felt about this magazine,’ she wrote on Twitter on August 6. ‘It’s so liberating so as to show the world how confident women can be once she learns to adore herself. It took soul searching plus a bit of time before I learned to embrace my figure therefore I can’t have been more excited to make this happen shoot. I think also important is showing women there’s NOTHING WRONG with embracing their health and sexuality. I am confident within my own skin and A PROUD @COSMOPOLITAN COVER GIRL! (sic)’
