Maroon 5 released the tunes video for new single “Sugar” earlier this week. The video’s concept, Adam Levine explains in the beginning, was to the band to cruise around Los Angeles and “hit every wedding we can,” as surprise guest performers. “It’s likely to be awesome,” he promises. And it is:
Sure, most of the couples seem slightly suspicious that their weddings are being filmed and ambushed in the beginning, however they’re all just thrilled using their musical guests. They all sing, each of them dance, all of them secretly wish Adam Levine were their groom deep down, although they’ll never discuss about it it and neither should we. Here are some of the most useful shocked/happy cry faces, in addition, besides the picture-perfect shot above:
Since film’s release, this guitar rock band has explained in interviews what sort of stunts played out. “Only the grooms knew in each case,” they told Entertainment Tonight. “[Whether] they disclosed it for their bride plus the wedding party, we are really not sure… They had stages set up with regards to actual music band already. All we did was some simple continuity changes to fit each one the best we could.”
In another interview, also with ET, Levine added, “It felt good to surprise they will and make them happy. [We were] happy that they can liked our band too.” Of course, that’s not likely a coincidence — particularly because lots of the brides and grooms knew the text to “Sugar” along with Maroon 5 songs. E! News reports how the couples were chosen following a Twitter call-out, and photos from apparently legit ceremony did leak back December, as well as quotes through the wedding photographer present. Sharis, the bride to be in question, confirmed to Cosmopolitan.com that her wedding was for sure and that only her husband knew about this rock band’s arrival. “Props to this rock band and the entire production company,” she said in a email, “they were so professional and thus courteous around the whole thing making sure they were not in any respect intrusive on our big day.” She and her husband were also “serenaded” that has a special performance of “She Will Be Loved,” and shared a photograph of the big, real-deal reveal:
But plus there is this: The bride inside the lead image above is model/actress Raina Hein, runner-up within the 14th cycle of America’s Next Top Model last 2010. For comparison’s sake, a side-by-side of her inside the “Sugar” video with many cheesy shots from her ANTM photo shoot days:
Seriously, if it’s not her, its her doppelganger — inside days ever since the video’s release, many a fervent Top Model fan (like myself) has left comments on the Facebook page demanding confirmation from her, as well as about the video itself along with articles covering it; Cosmopolitan.com also has reached seem to Hein for comment. And while Hein’s social networking pages provide occasional comprehension of her private life on top of her modeling gigs, there is no direct mention in any respect of a fiancé or, now, a husband. (Or, for example, no photos from her “Sugar” big day.)
Instead, as Top Model fans have noticed again, the guy considered her long-term boyfriend in Instagram snaps this way and this is clearly not her “groom” inside the video.
