Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Charli XCX are among the designers backing the relaunched Like Music Hate Racism plan.
Coldplay, Lianne La Havas, Royal Blood and Kwabs are also supporting the plan, which is a continuation of the well known Rock Against Racism plan from the ’70s.
Love New music Hate Racism’s Zak Cochrane said of the relaunched plan: “There is a proud story of musicians standing up to help racism from the likes connected with Steel Pulse and The Scission performing at Rock Next to Racism gigs in the 1970’s to bands such as The Libertines and Roll Deep performing at Love Music Despise Racism events in the first 2000s. ”
He persisted: “LMHR and RAR weren’t just about big bands and large concerts though. They were in relation to musicians and fans centralizing in a grass roots mobility. We are delighted that these designers are working with us to bring that campaign to life. Check Ed Sheeran Perfect Sheet Music page.
“I trust it will inspire millions of people again to put on their own gigs in addition to spread the message world that racism only searches for to divide communities, although music brings us together. It can be in all our interest to adore music and hate racism. ”
