Lana Del Rey has did actually confirm that her new album will probably be released on September 18.

The singer posted a photo of a billboard back with her image upon it to Instagram alongside the caption “September 18.” The billboard is suspended above Mel’s Drive-In, a ’50s-style diner in San Francisco.

Yeserday saw Del Rey reveal the explosive video for brand spanking new single ‘High By The Beach‘. In the video Del Rey shoots a helicopter filled up with paparazzi through the sky by using a grenade launcher.

The singer recently told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 how the single is “a little such as a hip-hop record” knowning that it also has trap influences. “It started together with the chorus. I was driving because of the beach lots,” she said. “This was probably on the list of last ones around the record… Even while using harmonies, it almost sounded monotone. But using the beat, they have this trap influence.”

Speaking around the making of her new record ‘Honeymoon‘, Del Rey added: “I always need to take advantage of feeling inspired since you don’t believe all the time. The jumping-off point was the finish of the other one. I wasn’t feeling too tired, still feeling inspired like I could continue.”

Earlier in 2010 it was reported that Del Rey had written several tracks on her new album, which she says will probably be “very different” to 2014 album ‘Ultraviolence’.

Lana Del Rey has reportedly recruited the assistance of producer Mark Ronson for that album, after The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach confirmed that she won’t be working using the singer following their collaboration on ‘Ultraviolence’.

Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey will feature on The Weeknd’s new album, ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’.
