Mumford and Sons were joined by Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus again in addition to Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello to get a private gig in LA.
The band were performing with the Troubadour a couple weeks ago when they played ‘What’s My Age Again?’ with the end of their set – watch footage above.
Morello also covered Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Ghost Of Tom Joad’ through the 14 song set and gave some help on Mumfords tracks ‘Awake My Soul’ and ‘Dust Bowl Dance’.

The band played numerous hits using their back catalogue including ‘I Will Wait’, ‘The Cave’ and ‘Little Lion Man’ alongside tracks off their new album ‘Wilder Mind’.
Mumford And Sons were previously joined by Hoppus and The Vaccines for just a live cover with the Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’ at The Forum inside city.
The band are going to headline the Reading & Leeds Festival later this week (August 28-30).
Meanwhile, it had been recently reported that Marcus Mumford is making hip-hop music with producer 88-Keys.
The producer told NME: “I got an e-mail from a fantastic friend of mine called Izzy [Izvor Zivkovic], who also manages his mom Kanye West. He informed me Marcus [Mumford] is part in the band Mumford & Sons. I’ve always seen their name around but I’ve never actually heard any of their music, only because I’m really tuned away from pretty much anything current, music wise.”
The British band released ‘Wilder Mind’ in May, topping the two UK and US Album Charts. Partly recorded with The National’s Aaron Dessner, the LP saw a departure in the band’s signature acoustic sound, using their use of banjos substituted with more classical guitar.
