Nick Jonas is disappointed his songs Close and Bacon defintely won’t be competing for MTV Video Music Awards prizes later.
The 23-year-old singer neglected to land just one nomination if the categories were announced on Tuesday, anf the husband turned to social websites to share his feelings with fans while you’re on the road with another snubbed artist, Demi Lovato.
“Disappointed while using fact Close got no passion for the #VMAs2016,” Nick tweeted.
Jonas’ Close promo grabbed headlines worldwide when it was launched in March due to its racy content – Nick with his fantastic duet partner Tove Lo set tongues wagging after locking lips from the steamy music video.
However, despite his disappointment, Jonas won’t let the VMAs nomination snub get him down, deciding to instead to spotlight the positive things in daily life.
He added: “Actually after great deal of thought more there are plenty of amazing things happening within my life and career. 9 beyond 10 boxes are checked… Won’t permitted this to one thing be able to me. I’m feeling so inspired and grateful right now. Gonna focus on caring less in regards to the small stuff… Everything is awesome.”
Nick and Demi weren’t the only real acts surprisingly left away from the nominations list – Taylor Swift didn’t get any mentions.
Beyonce leads all artists with 11 nods for Lemonade, a job high, while Adele follows with eight for my child Hello and Send My Love (To Your New Lover) visuals.
The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards will need place in New York City at Madison Square Garden on 28 August.
